Our Story..

We like to use fun cool prints that you can’t find on the high streets. We know how much children love animals and we do too.
I studied Ladies Fashion Design at Nottingham Trent University. Once graduated I moved to London and worked as a lady’s fashion designer for 8 years. I adored children's clothing more and decided to take the huge step and start my own label.
The Making of Our Garments.
I like to design comfortable stylish pieces that children love to play and feel comfortable in. I started off making my own garments and selling my designs at local farmers markets, was able to grow my business organically and now Play Cotton has two factories producing our garments. One in the U.K and an organic factory overseas. I currently still make the little leggings :)
Eco - Friendly.
We search high and low for unique fun prints. I also design some of the prints myself.
We especially like to use organic cotton as its a high quality fabric, better on the environment/workers, lovely to work with and kind on young ones' skin.
Children love to dress up and have their own sense of style . I've tried to create beautiful playful clothes that children will love to wear all the time.
Farmers Markets
Play Cotton still trades at local farmers markets in South London. We think it's super important getting to know our customers and getting their feedback.
You will find us selling on local market stalls around London, such as Herne Hill and North Cross Road Market, West Norwood feast, Pexmas and many others.
